Pro-life
Overview
Pro-life groups are often likened to religious extremists who have little or no connection to society. MAYO is here to represent a view of young adults, in touch with society, who see not necessarily a religious view of pro-life, although they do, but also a humanitarian reason that all life should be respected, no matter the cost. At no stage does MAYO denounce women's rights to self determination, but their remains a simple fact, if you remove the right to life, as abortion does, there is no ground for any other human rights.
Playtime
Introduction
Playtime is a MAYO project to allow anyone to help develop Catholic computer games or other programming projects.The aim is to contribute to developing a Catholic youth culture. Games should be compatible with Catholic teaching and promote Catholic ethics. Ideally they should be so good that they are mass market alternatives to games of questionable morals. They must be fun and be good recreation, ie to help re-create the youth of today into the Catholic leaders of tomorrow.
